Other specialties include: Gardening: 14 years as a Master Gardener. *Current Master Gardener
Association immediate past President, past Vice President and current Treasurer. Interest in orchids and other
epiphytic species, water gardens, heirloom vegetable species and anything else botanical. *Backyards for wildlife enthusiast.
I am also a lover of animals and have, chickens in the coop, Bloodhound pups, barn cats and kittens in
the yard, and peacocks strolling.
*I am the County's Zoning Board Chairperson and have conservation in mind. Zoning
ideas and terminology to fit the environmentalist attitude are welcome. I am also an exofficio member of the Clinton County
Planning Commission and a Zoning Draft advisor.
*Board of Clinton County Streamkeepers Assn. and current Assn. Secretary. We are monitoring
the streams, including Indian Run, Cowan Creek, the Little Miami River, Todd's Fork Creek and Anderson Fork basing
cleanliness upon invertabrate species and count.
*Off-grid living since 1994. My system has become truly sustainable. The system consists
of: 18 Siemens (now Shell Solar) SP 75's, 4 Kycera 120's and a SW Air 403 wind generator, (15 year old) 16 6v Trojan
batteries, a Trace DR3624 inverter and C-60 controller. Also used is a Kubota 5.5KW gas generator in times of
dreary skies and light wind and dead fog. It is a rare day that this is needed anymore.
Antique sales are booming at the Shoppes at the Old Mill. Specialties include Art Pottery
including Rookwood, Van Briggle, Roseville, Weller, Niloak, Camark and others. Also specializing in Jewelry and Household Antiques.
Attempts being made at being a sustainable hedonist. Today, I am succeeding!
Bloodhounds pups have been born 3/25/2009, Travel is briefly on hold. Next dive
